Admission Procedure for Secondary Section
(Class V to IX)

Admission Overview

Admission is conducted according to the rules and guidelines issued by the School Education Department, Government of West Bengal.

The school follows a fair, transparent, and systematic admission process to provide opportunities to eligible students seeking admission.

Admission is subject to the availability of accommodation, fulfilment of eligibility criteria, and submission of all required documents within the prescribed time.

Admission Process

Students who wish to take admission are required to apply within the notified admission schedule.

The admission process generally includes:

• Collection of admission form from school office.

• Submission of the duly filled admission form along with all required documents.

• Verification of student's eligibility, academic records and other supporting documents.

• Completion of admission formalities and payment of the prescribed fees within the stipulated period.

If the number of applicants exceeds the available capacity, selection will be made according to the guidelines and procedures prescribed by the concerned authorities.

Age Criteria for Admission

The age of a candidate for admission to different classes will be calculated as on 1st January of the respective academic year.

The age-appropriate classes shall be as follows:

• Class V - 10 years and above but less than 11 years of age

• Class VI - 11 years and above but less than 12 years of age

• Class VII - 12 years and above but less than 13 years of age

• Class VIII - 13 years and above but less than 14 years of age

• Class IX - 14 years and above

Documents Required for Admission

Parents/Guardians must submit the following documents at the time of admission:

• Recent colour passport-size photograph of the student.

• Photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by Corporation / Municipality / Gram Panchayat.

• Photocopy of Previous Mark Sheet / Academic Progress Report.

• School Leaving Certificate (Original copy to be submitted to the school).

• Photocopy of AADHAR Card of student

• Caste Certificate (if applicable).

• Photocopy of first page of Bank Pass Book of students.

• Identity Cards of Parents and/or Guardians (Voter Id card and AADHAR card).

• Any other documents required by the school authorities during the admission process.

Important Instructions

• All documents submitted must be genuine and valid.

• Parents/Guardians should provide correct information in the admission form.

• Admission will be confirmed only after proper verification of documents and completion of all required formalities.

Admission Procedure for Higher Secondary Section
(Class XI)

Admission Overview

Admission to the Higher Secondary Section (Class XI) is conducted in accordance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines prescribed by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) and the School Education Department, Government of West Bengal.

The school offers Higher Secondary education with experienced faculty, well-equipped laboratories, library facilities, and a learning environment that encourages academic excellence and holistic development.

Eligibility for Admission

Students who have successfully passed the Madhyamik Examination / Secondary Examination (Class X) conducted by WBBSE, CBSE, CISCE (ICSE), or any other recognised Board of Secondary Education in India are eligible to apply for admission to Class XI, subject to the rules and regulations of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE).

Admission shall be granted based on:

• Fulfilment of the eligibility criteria prescribed by WBCHSE and the school.

• Availability of seats in the desired stream.

• Submission of the prescribed application form along with all required documents within the stipulated time.

• Verification of academic records and other supporting documents.

Note: Students passing the Secondary Examination from any recognised Board in India must produce all original certificates, mark sheets, and other documents required by the school at the time of admission. The school reserves the right to verify the authenticity of all submitted documents before confirming admission.

Admission Process

Students may apply for admission to the available stream(s) offered by our school. Admission to a particular stream and subject combination is granted subject to eligibility, academic performance, availability of seats, and the rules of WBCHSE. Important Instructions
