শিক্ষামূলক ভ্রমণ প্রসাদপুর ভাগ্যধর বিদ্যানিকেতন (উঃমাঃ)-এর অভিজ্ঞতাভিত্তিক শিক্ষার একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। বিদ্যালয় মনে করে যে শিক্ষা শুধুমাত্র শ্রেণিকক্ষ ও পাঠ্যপুস্তকের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ নয়। শিক্ষার্থীরা যখন নিজের চোখে দেখে, পর্যবেক্ষণ করে এবং বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জন করে, তখন শিক্ষার প্রকৃত উদ্দেশ্য পূরণ হয়।

শিক্ষামূলক ভ্রমণের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা পাঠ্যবইয়ের জ্ঞানকে বাস্তব জীবনের সঙ্গে যুক্ত করার সুযোগ পায়। এই ধরনের কার্যক্রম শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে অনুসন্ধিৎসা, সৃজনশীলতা, দলগত মনোভাব, সামাজিক যোগাযোগ এবং ইতিহাস, ভূগোল, বিজ্ঞান, সংস্কৃতি ও পরিবেশ সম্পর্কে গভীর ধারণা তৈরি করে।

বিদ্যালয় প্রতিবছর ঐতিহাসিক, ভৌগোলিক, বৈজ্ঞানিক, সাংস্কৃতিক ও পরিবেশগত গুরুত্বসম্পন্ন বিভিন্ন স্থানে শিক্ষামূলক ভ্রমণের আয়োজন করে। এই ভ্রমণগুলি শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য জ্ঞান অর্জনের পাশাপাশি আনন্দময় ও স্মরণীয় অভিজ্ঞতা সৃষ্টি করে।

শিক্ষামূলক ভ্রমণের ধরন -----

১. সংক্ষিপ্ত শিক্ষামূলক ভ্রমণ

বিদ্যালয়ের পক্ষ থেকে কলকাতা ও পার্শ্ববর্তী অঞ্চলের বিভিন্ন শিক্ষামূলক স্থানে একদিনের ভ্রমণের আয়োজন করা হয়।  সাধারণত সপ্তম থেকে দশম শ্রেণীর ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এই ভ্রমণে অংশগ্রহণ করে। বাসে ক'রে ছাত্রছাত্রীদেরকে নিকটবর্তী কোনো ভ্রমণস্থানে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। স্বল্প মূল্যের বিনিময়ে এই ভ্রমণ সংগঠিত করা হয়। সকালে বিদ্যালয় থেকে বাস ছাড়া হয় এবং সন্ধ্যায় বিদ্যালয় ছাত্রছাত্রীদেরকে পৌঁছে দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা করা হয়। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে—

• জাদুঘর

• ঐতিহাসিক স্থান ও স্থাপত্য

• বিজ্ঞান কেন্দ্র

• গবেষণা প্রতিষ্ঠান

• উদ্ভিদ উদ্যান

• পরিবেশ ও ঐতিহ্যবাহী স্থান

এই ধরনের ভ্রমণ শিক্ষার্থীদের স্থানীয় ইতিহাস, বিজ্ঞান, সংস্কৃতি ও সমাজ সম্পর্কে ধারণা প্রদান করে।

২. দীর্ঘ শিক্ষামূলক ভ্রমণ

বিদ্যালয়ের উদ্যোগে প্রতিবছর ভারতের বিভিন্ন স্থানে ৪–৫ দিনের দীর্ঘ শিক্ষামূলক সফরের আয়োজন করা হয়। সাধারণত একাদশ ও দ্বাদশ শ্রেণীর ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এই ভ্রমণে অংশগ্রহণ করে। শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকাদের সহযোগিতায় ছাত্রছাত্রীদেরকে নিয়ে ট্রেনে করে দূর দূরান্তে ভ্রমণ করা হয়। একাদশ এবং দ্বাদশ শ্রেণীতে জীববিদ্যা, ভূগোল এবং পরিবেশবিদ্যা বিষয় নিয়ে পাঠরত ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের এই ভ্রমণে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য উৎসাহিত করা হয়। এই সকল বিষয়ের পাঠক্রম অনুযায়ী নির্ধারিত প্রজেক্ট ওয়ার্ক এই ভ্রমণ চলাকালীন সম্পন্ন করা হয়ে থাকে। এই ভ্রমণের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা জানতে পারে—

• ভারতের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলের বৈচিত্র্য

• ঐতিহাসিক ঐতিহ্য ও স্থাপত্য

• বিভিন্ন এলাকার সংস্কৃতি ও জীবনযাত্রা

এই ভ্রমণ শিক্ষার্থীদের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি প্রসারিত করে এবং দেশের ঐক্য ও বৈচিত্র্য সম্পর্কে শ্রদ্ধাবোধ তৈরি করে।

নিরাপত্তা ও পরিচালনা

বিদ্যালয় শিক্ষামূলক ভ্রমণের সময় যথাযথ পরিকল্পনা ও নিরাপত্তার ব্যবস্থা করে। শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকারা শিক্ষার্থীদের সঙ্গে থেকে প্রয়োজনীয় নির্দেশনা ও সহযোগিতা প্রদান করেন। শৃঙ্খলা, নিরাপত্তা ও দায়িত্ববোধ বজায় রেখে প্রতিটি ভ্রমণকে আনন্দদায়ক ও শিক্ষামূলক করে তোলা হয়।

Educational Excursions

Educational excursions are an important part of experiential learning at Prasadpur Bhagyadhar Vidyaniketan (HS). The school believes that education should not be limited only to classrooms and textbooks. The true purpose of education is fulfilled when students get opportunities to observe, explore and gain real-life experiences.

Through educational excursions, students get the opportunity to connect their textbook knowledge with practical situations. Such activities develop curiosity, creativity, team spirit, social interaction and a deeper understanding of history, geography, science, culture and the environment.

Every year, the school organizes educational excursions to various places of historical, geographical, scientific, cultural and environmental importance. These excursions provide students with valuable knowledge as well as joyful and memorable learning experiences.

Objectives of Educational Excursions

• To provide practical knowledge beyond textbooks and classrooms

Types of Educational Excursions

1. Short Educational Excursions

The school organizes one-day educational excursions to various educational places within Kolkata and nearby areas. Generally, students from Classes VII to X participate in these excursions. Students are taken by bus to nearby places of educational importance. These excursions are organized at a nominal cost so that students can participate easily. The bus usually starts from the school in the morning and students are safely brought back to the school in the evening. The places visited may include:

• Museums

• Historical places and architectural sites

• Science centres

• Research institutions

• Botanical gardens

• Environmental and heritage sites

These excursions help students gain knowledge about local history, science, culture and society.

2. Long Educational Excursions

The school organizes long educational tours of 4–5 days every year to different parts of India. Generally, students of Classes XI and XII participate in these tours. With the guidance and cooperation of teachers, students travel to distant places by train and explore various regions of the country. Students studying Biology, Geography and Environmental Studies in Classes XI and XII are especially encouraged to participate in these excursions. Project works prescribed in the curriculum of these subjects are also completed during these educational tours.

Through these excursions, students learn about:

• The diversity of different regions of India

• Historical heritage and architecture

• Culture and lifestyle of different areas

• Geographical features

• Biodiversity and natural resources

These tours broaden students' perspectives and develop respect for the unity and diversity of India.
